We have a grand – and achievable – vision of a university by and for the people of North East India founded on Christian values yet open to a variety of thoughts and supportive of an interchange of viewpoints.
A university that offers students a values-based liberal arts education and education for their professions.
A university that teaches students how to think critically and inde- pendently, to solve problems, to communicate effectively, and to be lifelong learners.
A university that prepares student to be good citizens, who are responsible persons that understand the ethical consequences of their actions.
A university that provides NEI communities the skilled professionals required for nation-building in the 21st century.
We have already planted the seeds that will grow into this vision in our Dimapur campus. Now we need to tend them, grow them.
Right now, today, we must plant the seeds that will grow into a thriving, sus- tainable, excellent, Christian liberal arts university for future generations of believers in North East India and to transform the region itself.
